SMS Program Terms

Program and enrollment

Workbench SMS is an optional operational alert program from Diehl Development, LLC for authorized Workbench users. Messages concern tasks needing attention, agent or service incidents, acknowledgement reminders, and recovery updates. The program does not send advertising or third-party marketing.

Enrollment requires your affirmative consent after the program disclosures are provided and your nominated mobile number is verified. Providing a number for setup or visiting these pages does not enroll you. Initially, enrollment is limited to the Workbench owner. These pages do not offer public enrollment.

Frequency, reminders, and charges

Message frequency varies with incidents and notification settings. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.

For a critical incident, Workbench sends one initial alert. If it remains unacknowledged, Workbench schedules at most one reminder 15 minutes after the initial alert is accepted for sending. There are no repeated acknowledgement reminders for the same incident. Delivery delays can affect when a message reaches your phone.

An acknowledgement, an opt-out, or a resolved incident cancels any unsent acknowledgement reminder. A reminder is not sent when the initial sending outcome is uncertain until that outcome has been reconciled. Later material changes or recovery can produce separate operational updates.

Stopping messages and getting help

When the service is active, reply STOP to stop SMS notifications. You may receive a single opt-out confirmation. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Aaron at aaron@heresthediehl.com. Carrier or AWS handling of required keywords may apply.

Stopping messages does not resolve an incident, cancel pending work, or delete your account. Re-enrollment requires renewed affirmative consent through the program's enrollment process. Contact us if your number changes or you no longer control it.

What replies can do

Replies can acknowledge an incident or add a comment. Include the incident reference from the alert so the reply can be associated with the right record. An unclear reply requires clarification rather than changing an unrelated task.

An acknowledgement confirms receipt only. It does not authorize payments, deployments, broader access, reassignment, or task completion. Use the signed-in private board for decisions requiring authorization. A text reply does not execute an arbitrary command or independently start an agent job.

Delivery and the authoritative record

Messages may be delayed, blocked, or undelivered. Neither sending nor a delivery status proves that a message has been read. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Workbench SMS is not an emergency response service and is not a substitute for emergency services.

The private Workbench board remains the authoritative task and incident record. If an alert does not reach you, work remains subject to its existing permissions; a missed message does not authorize an otherwise blocked action.

Privacy

The SMS Privacy Notice explains collection, processing, sharing, and retention. Workbench-controlled SMS message text and delivery records are retained for 90 days. Task comments and minimum consent or opt-out evidence are handled separately as described in that notice. Keep sensitive information on the private board.

Changes and contact
